Hotwire air

Have you ever used hotwire to book air fare? if so did it work out good was it a smooth process or was it a night mare thanks James

My wife and I did a hotwire air in May of 2002 that was really nice and today we still talk about that flight. We were trying to get a decent airfare to Frankfurt Germany from Phoenix. Once my wife finally decided yes we were going the airfares were in the $700 to $950 range. I check hotwire and saw a $575 price around trip so we took the chance. We got airfare with US Air Phoneix to Pittsburgh (Two and a half hour lay over) Pittsburgh to Frankfurt and the same route return. The flight was on a 330 Airbus and was a wonderful flight. Every seat had an LCD movie screen with around eight different movies. My wife watched movies the whole trip. Also at that time you got a "good meal" including free wine. This was a really nice flight. I have heard of some people getting some long lay overs but our experience was very positive. I hope this helps. Tim and Cathy

I have used hotwire only when the times were not important. I have never had a problem with my flights.
