Hi! i'm trying to decide between a catamaran going to honeymoon beach in st. john's or christmas cove in st thomas in March.  based on the prettiest of the beach/water and the snorkeling, which one would you choose?

also cross posted in the port group.

thanks everyone for your help!

Much of HB on STJ can be underwater during the winter months due to swells, but in March may be ok. We enjoyed the New Horizons sloop out of Sapphire Marina. Moored in Caneel Bay with a great Italian lunch, then off Great St James… But no beach time on HB due to swells…

Christmas Cove was awful when we were there in April.  Almost completely grey underwater.  I mean visibility was fine, but there was nothing colorful to see.   There was a "sunken boat" but it was just the side of an old rowboat, with no marine life around it.  There were like two turtles and a starfish in the whole space.  Pretty ride to get there from port though.
