Amex Bonus OBC

I have seen on many threads  Amex Card holders overseas boasting of getting Bonus OBC by booking with their Amex Card.
As a Aussie Amex Card Holder just wondering if anyone has received these offers Downunder because I certainly have not seen such an offer
