La Quinta in FLL

Anyone stayed at LaQuinta Suites in Ft Lauderdale before or after a cruise? Is it near any kind of shopping...ie: Publix, drugstores? Thanks

Haven't stayed there yet but will soon from my questions & research it is within walking distance of a strip mall with a Publix and many restaurants Dave & Busters, Outback, Hollywood Ale House.

Which one ? There are more than 1 in the Ft.Lauderdale area.

I am staying there next Saturday (pre-cruise) and will post a review when I get home. We had reservations at another hotel, but after reading these boards we switched to the La Quinta. This thread has some information about restaurants near the hotel -
