Not their job nor area of expertise. The Greece info posted last Wed doesn't match anything published by their government, nor are the protocols as written anything close to other cruise lines, including HAL (PCL and HAL share medical dept mgmt). Some folks have made formal inquiries to Princess about this new change which doesn't make much sense. Each country in the EU had the option to continue mask mandates one planes and in airports, for one example. They aren't all cookie-cutter approaches. HA Group Medical is so far saying Greece has fully adopted the EU Healthy Gateways Guidelines and they have to follow. But HAL cruises aren't doing the same as Princess (per their website documentation), so how can that be if a government requirement? (I asked them that back). Also, AFAIK, the EU guidelines have been adjusted, so again this doesn't make sense. We'll see if I or anyone else gets a follow-up answer. bill70tt Posted August 23, 2022 #52 Share Posted August 23, 2022 Thank you for posting this....We are on the same cruise...flying in from NYC. Princess agents still are telling people here that the self-administered test has to be "supervised". I got the same email as you. So, we plan to take a home kit antigen test in our hotel room(no web supervision) and bring result to the pier. Agree that this is the way to do it?
