Are you referring to the Glace Bay Miner's Museum?

I am wondering because there is a place called Sydney Mines and I don't know if you accidentally left off the s.  There is a Sydney Mines Heritage Museum and Cape Breton Fossil Centre.  
The Miner's Museum is in Glace Bay

 

If we are talking about the Glace Bay Miner's Museum, I did it quite a few years ago and did enjoy it.  It tends to be a popular thing.  The food at the restaurant is good too). 

 

I have not done the other one.
