carlmm Posted August 20, 2022 #1 Share Posted August 20, 2022 (edited) Can somebody tell me where in Florence the drop off for "Florence in your own" ship tours is? Also, when it says the tour starts at 8.00 am, when could one expect to be there and can make the earliest reservation at some site? euro cruiser Posted August 20, 2022 #2 Share Posted August 20, 2022 I think it may depend on the cruise line. HAL and others use Piazza Piave but I've heard that some use a stop east of the Accademia.

euro cruiser Posted August 20, 2022 #4 Share Posted August 20, 2022 I would try posting on the Cunard board, you may have more luck finding someone there who has done the excursion with them.
jerseyjill Posted August 29, 2022 #5 Share Posted August 29, 2022 we were thinking of doing the Florence on Your Own trip too. Re description on NCL website says it drops you off near the Ponte Vecchio Bridge near St Croce Square. I really like to know how far the walk is from one point to the other. Signed, Bad knees, lol

I really like to know how far the walk is from one point to the other. This is describing Piazza Piave, which is 1.2 km/eight-tenths of a mile from Ponte Vecchio, 750 meters/one half mile from Santa Croce, and 1.7 km/one mile from the Duomo.
