hiking boots for Around the Horn Cruise??

should I pack hiking boots for our Around the Horn Cruise?? dont know if I am over doing it... are tennis shoes enough.

For what we did, tennis shoes were just fine. We did not sign up for some of the hiking tours in Ushuaia.

unless you are going to be doing some heavy duty hiking, they are not necessary. for all our day trips we wore regular runners, even to see the penguins.
