Galapagos in November or January?

I would like to go to the Galapagos on the Flora in November but I can't tell if it would be better to wait until January.  I can do either but would prefer November.  Google gives me inconsistent results so I'd like to see if anyone has been there in November.  It seems like there is less rainfall and heat in November but the main downside I see is that the water isn't as clear for snorkeling.  Thanks in advance.

You're basically near the equator, so you aren't getting major seasons.  Instead, a key issue is the Humboldt Current.  This brings in cold water to the Galapagos, which brings in krill and nutrients, etc, which in turn attracts the fish and birds.

The Current runs from June to November, so I would go in November.  It will be colder for snorkeling, but you'll see more activity.
