poohdreaming Posted August 24, 2022 #1 Share Posted August 24, 2022 Hello All, It will be my first time on MSC Divina sailing solo. A connecting stateroom was assigned to me. Are these staterooms okay? Or should I give MSC a call to see if there are other cabins available? I wanted to see/hear opinions/reviews before going through the necessary of calling MSC. Thanks. publicpersona Posted August 24, 2022 #2 Share Posted August 24, 2022 Sometimes a connecting room has a loveseat where there would ordinarily be a sofa. And the argument could be made that connecting rooms (and staterooms with pullmans) appeal to families and thus receive some more wear and tear. But honestly .. if you got a stateroom in a good location, I wouldn't sweat the small stuff.
cruiseguyinorl Posted August 24, 2022 #3 Share Posted August 24, 2022 This all depends on your neighbors. On the Divina, you can hear everything going on in the connecting room. If you get quiet neighbors, all will be good. Sometimes they have also removed the sofa and replaced it with a chair but not true in all cases. Calling them can be a nightmare too. I don't have good advice for this one. Guessing you didn't go through a TA that could go in the system and just change a cabin without having human intervention?
