dshroyer Posted August 26, 2022 #1 Share Posted August 26, 2022 Trying to decide if we want the "Have it all". I do not want to book it only to find out that all of the shore excursions are full. Is there any way to see what is still available without formally booking the cruise? Thanks
crystalspin Posted August 26, 2022 #2 Share Posted August 26, 2022 Not that I have ever found! It could be kind of valuable information... There was a thread yesterday by someone this had happened to. One answer said that when their WaitList excursion became available, they couldn't apply the HIA credit to it! That seemed wrong, but was stated experience. But, if you book with HIA, it is refundable, even immediately. A more devious way would be to join the Roll Call and ask for someone to look for you...
crystalspin Posted August 26, 2022 #3 Share Posted August 26, 2022 Here is that thread. Another person has come back to say, when they were able to book a waitlisted excursion, they had to "pay cash" but were told they could apply the HIA perk once on board. Florida_gal_50 Posted August 27, 2022 #5 Share Posted August 27, 2022 I’ve had some luck looking at the Princess cruise site. They will usually have similar shore ex. Of course this will only work if it’s a like cruise e.g Caribbean, Mexico, Alaska not if it’s a one off. You can do a pretend booking on their site and right away you can see air, shorex etc. It can’t been too far out though or the shorex aren’t there.
