Can anyone give info on scuba in Bermuda?

Has anyone gone scuba diving? What dive did you choose? Was it a good experience? Price? I'm trying to get all the information I can. We arrive in Bermuda on May 2.

You can book scuba diving through the boat, but it costs more. I had booked it on my own.

 

I once did Discovery Scuba with Fantasea. On another trip I used Blue Water Divers. Both were great. If you will be in Hamilton I would try to book with Fantasea because they are are 45 second walk from the boat.

 

Blue Water is on Somerset Bridge. So you would need to take the bus. They only allow mech bags of you are bringing your gear, and try to make sure you and most of your gear are dry going back. BWD let me keep gear in a locker over night.

 

There are mostly wrecks to dive, which are cool because they are real wrecks. Many are completely destroyed. The reef was ok, not much as for animals. Water was warm. As far as I remember viz was good.
