Uber from Carnival Long Beach Cruise Terminal.

Hello All,

My wife and I will be getting off of the Panorama Ship in a couple of weeks. We usually park at the port but this time we will be getting dropped off and need a ride home.

We were thinking of getting an Uber and was wondering when we should put in the request in the App. after we get outside with all of our luggage or maybe just as we are walking off of the ship? 

Will there be Ubers waiting around?

Any help will be appreciated.

I'd start looking as after clearing ICE, walking to get my luggage.

I can tell you that in July when we got off the Navigator at San Pedro there were people waiting at the curb for 20-30 minutes for their Uber and that was assuming they could get one or the driver didn't cancel for a better fare.  I had reserved one the day before as we left Ensenada and she was there just as promised.  Yes, you do pay a little more to RSVP, but with two little granddaughters in tow it was worth it.
