Kids food question on the Apex / Silhouette?

Quick question.
Thinking about a cruise on either the Apex or the Silhouette. One of our kids eats a very limited menu. Can previous cruisers advice if chicken strips are available at the MDR's by request?

Yes there is a childrens menu and chicken strips are on it.

There is a kids menu, but I don't believe chicken fingers / strips are on it.

and this matches my recollection from our cruise last month.

 

That said, the dining room staff are very accommodating and can almost certainly make chicken fingers happen if your kids aren't able to find anything else they will eat.
