Sounds like a herd of elephants on speed, above you. No possibility of sleeping. We complained to GR but what could they do when it was already in progress? This is why it's really important to check the deck plans above and below a cabin you're planning to book. Many times it has caused us to change locations. D. B. Posted September 16, 2022 #27 Share Posted September 16, 2022 I once booked an assigned Cabin (They Pick It) and ended up right under a Casino! You can bet I never made That mistake again!
Mimiya11 Posted September 16, 2022 #28 Share Posted September 16, 2022 White nights? Been on many Celebrity cruises (as recent as March), and never heard of one. The silent discos are fun though. We were on HAL on a Mexican Riviera cruise (pre Covid). We found that HAL was far above Celebrity in regards to entertainment and night life. We loved the varied venues each night (from blues, to classical, to sing along pianos - we were never bored at night). Celebrity really needs to up their game in this regard. But....(don't bash me) we won't be cruising HAL again as we found food in the dining room was really average and ended up doing specialty dining, which was above average but not great. You will find the food and customer service level on Celebrity far superior (IMHO). Enjoy
