Check your invoices!

I am asking the majority of you to suck eggs I know but if there is any reason for O to change your booking or anything that produces a new invoice please do check all the details carefully.

Just had my revised invoice for my Nov ‘24 TA on Sirena. As they have changed the dates and the itinerary and the trip is now 16 days instead of 12 they sent a new invoice. I had a quick look and the booking had substituted my mum (who has travelled with me before on O) with my hubby who was originally booked… no idea why that happened, but it did. As this trip now starts on my wedding anniversary I really think I should be travelling with my hubby…

A quick call to O fixed this - I tried to check it in my reservations on the website but it’s not back in there yet. It was easily fixed, but just a heads up that you need to double check these things just in case.

Another lucky thing…as I couldn’t see the booking, I went to the website to do a mock booking on the voyage to make sure the cabin was still marked as booked, and saw my absolute first choice for the cruise had become available, so I moved to that one at the same time as getting the invoice fixed.

8000 here I come - I had tried to get this cabin when the voyage first opened, but it had already gone and I ended up in 8004, good but not as good as 8000. Small hiccup that had a happy ending! 8000 is an absolute optimum cabin on R class ships imo, quiet, close to the lifts and as an added bonus it has the wall on the balcony forward so blocks out a lot of the wind on a TA. I also enjoy the movement so far forward.
