gp Posted March 3, 2006 #1 Share Posted March 3, 2006 Do passengers need to bring electrical converters with them on the Wind Surf? I'm on the 3/12 and 3/19 sailings and have received mixed information from Windstar regarding whether I need to or not. Thanks...........GP. I_need_a_break! Posted March 7, 2006 #6 Share Posted March 7, 2006 Wind Surf has 220V outlets with one 110V outlet hidden under the desk, which can be used for recharging camera batteries etc. There is a label on the 110V outlet which says not to use heat appliances ie hair dryers, curling irons etc. My curling iron has dual voltage, and I brought along an adaptor plug for it. It worked fine in the 220V outlet.
rickcohen2 Posted March 12, 2006 #7 Share Posted March 12, 2006 The Windsurf's 120VAC outlets under the desk provided all the power we needed to keep several little items running and charging (thanks to the use of a multi-outlet strip.
