Roulette Players question!

Hello Inveterate Cruiser,

My experience on NCL playing Roulette is that I was rated based on playtime and average bet per play.  I also bet for the dealer about $1 to $2 a spin.  Avg night, the dealers would get about $200 in wins from the bets.

I will give you my experience from my last cruise.  It was on NCL Joy for seven days, I took $1K and spent most of my time on Roulette and Craps.  On average, I was in the casino playing for about six hours a day.  When playing Roulette, my average bet was $100 a spin on numbers.  That cruise put me at Pearl level in less than four days.  I was friendly with the staff and tried to get to know them without asking too many personal questions and being odd.  On day two, a chunk of the casino staff knew me by name and waved at me every time I went by.  Does this help?  I don’t know, but I know that it can’t hurt my odds of a better ranking by the pit boss.  One final note at the end of the cruise, I went to the rewards desk and asked if I had any credit.  They ended up adding $200 to my onboard account.

I am no expert, and your mileage will vary.
