andymattmom Posted September 17, 2022 #1 Share Posted September 17, 2022 Cannes is a tender port correct? What is debarkation like for tenders? This is the Grandiosa We are in Yacht Club specifically- I understand we get priority debarkation, but does anyone have personal experience on how this works. We have a non MSC tour booked and I want to make sure I allow enough time (I am able to change the start time).
iwtobek Posted September 17, 2022 #2 Share Posted September 17, 2022 (edited) Embarking in Cannes next week. First time Cannes is an embarking/debarking port for us, though we've already sailed there as a port day. Tender boats service passengers, most likely other boats used for luggage. “Terminal” is a very small building, which only purpose is to host the security check. No seats, no indoor space. I trust MSC use tents outside to keep luggage. If by any chance you're onboard and might ask for what's embarkation looks like while in Cannes, looking forward to hear about it! The Butlers then escort you in groups to the tender berth, and you are taken to the front of the queue.
