When do ships do Christmas decorating?

One of my bucket list items is to cruise on a ship fully decorated for Christmas.  My guess is that the ships all do this around Thanksgiving.  Does anyone know for sure?

Usually the day after Thanksgiving.

Usually the first week in December. We used to cruise that week every year and they were setting up as we were boarding.

They start the night of Thanksgiving (as in overnight, after the holiday).  

They don't do it all at once -- they add more and more decorations each day.  If you want the ship fully decorated, I would book the second week of December or later.

Done 8 Thanksgivings on Royal Ships since 2012, Decorations went up 7 times that Thursday Nite, 8th time wasnt until Saturday
