I have only ever travelled on a Celebrity cruise and am considering a trip to the fjords in March /April time and wondered if anyone had been at this time of year?

What was the weather like  in March or April ?

Also, are the places worth going in early spring ?are tourist sights and stores open ?

I have read that often the ship cant get in to the fjord due to bad weather and then you only have maybe 3 stops on a weeks cruise ?

How will P&O compare to Celebrity ?

Thanks in advance for your help .

2 months is a long time in terms of seasons in Norway.  1st March will still be winter, by end of April first signs of spring and much more daylight,

However my parents did a Fjords cruise in early May and lots of trips were cancelled as the high road routes were still blocked with snow.  They don't get cleared through winter as there is no need due to lack of fjord visitors.
