ms Westerdam and ms Nieuw Amsterdam in Juneau September 27, 2022

Nieuw Amsterdam and Westerdam are making their last visits to Juneau this season.

 

Nieuw Amsterdam will be at the AS dock from 1pm to 10pm.  After this cruise, she will be repositioning to Fort Lauderdale and will arrive on October 25.

 

Westerdam will be at the CT dock from 2pm to 11pm.  She will be heading off to Australia and New Zealand.

 

The only other cruise ship in port is Norwegian Encore at the AJ dock (2:30pm-11pm).

 

A cloudy day with periods of rain is forecast.  The high will be 54F/12C and the low 44F/7C.  Sunrise is at 6:54am and sunset at 6:42pm.

Next up:  Eurodam and Koningsdam on Monday, 3 October which will be our last Juneau visit for HAL ships.

At least they are close to the same sail-in time. I was hoping one wasn't also in the am in Juneau.

 

Afternoon sail-ins are easy to remember - even though in the different timezone - they are still the same time as the normal PEV/FLL sailaways coming up soon.

We have the flying noisemakers today. - the weather has improved.

Westy is in the basin and heading for the dock. We won't see her long as she is close to being blocked out by NA.

That was the last Juneau sail-in for these BHB. 

 

Only our 2 normal Monday BHBs next week. - Eurodam and Koningsdam.
