Although Total Spirits looks interesting, too. How are their prices?

I think I called it Total Spirits in another post. I have their card in hand and it's TOTAL WINE at 1906 Cordova Rd, a few doors east of the Publix. I'm not much of a drinker so really didn't pay attention to prices. Once upon a time I drank Crown Royal, so I do check that price. It was about $24 for a litre. If I recall, prices for that same bottle on the ship are 9-10 bucks cheaper. But this store is amazing for the quantity of spirits they display.

Total Wine & More, a 40-store, Maryland-based chain, has opened its first South Florida store at 1906 Cordova Rd., Fort Lauderdale, boasting more than 8,000 wines, 2,000 spirits and 1,000 beers; 954-828-9463.

 

On Crown's (not related) website, they list Crown for $29.98 /liter so I'd say the prices are ok.

Gee, I only counted a couple of hundred beers. I think they are counting things like Hard Lemonade too. They have soda and waters as well.

 

Turns out their very first store is only a few miles from me, but it goes under a different name.

We shopped at Crown pre-cruise a couple weeks ago. We found the prices to be very comparable to home. The scotch we looked at was actually the same price on the ship. The staff was very friendly and even sampled the wine we were interested in.
