Cove balconies-Yay or Nay?

I think the cove balcony depends on the ship.  Mardi Gras has them on deck 5, on most other ships they are on deck 2.  That is a big difference to me and why I decided to try one on the Mardi Gras.  We shall see if it was a good decision or not.
