Native Floridian 26 Posted October 5, 2022 #2 Share Posted October 5, 2022 Check your country's MSC website. Test required if unvaccinated. https://www.msccruises.co.uk/health-and-safety-measures/northern-europe-and-cruises-from-uk
Cumbria1kaz Posted October 5, 2022 #3 Share Posted October 5, 2022 Hi there, I think it can be an antigen test also for unvaccinated which is cheaper than a pcr. We’re going on Seascape in November and although msc don’t require you to be vaccinated or tested when we arrive in Spain we will need to provide a negative lft result. It’s all rather confusing. Good luck
flyingmonk Posted October 8, 2022 #4 Share Posted October 8, 2022 (edited) Any recent experiences in Med cruises, espcially for unvaxed children above 5 years? MSC states this in their embarkation requirement - ""All guests over 5 years old who are unvaccinated or do not have proof of a vaccine certificate, must show proof of a lab-administered negative COVID-19 viral test (RT-PCR or antigen) taken within 48 hours of embarkation before boarding." How strict they are in implementing it? Can we get an Antigen testing done at the port (Barcelona) or on the ship? HikingPete Posted October 8, 2022 #5 Share Posted October 8, 2022 (edited) In the UK if you aren't vaccinated you need to provide a PCR or Antigen test taken in the two days before embarkation. You might still have time to get vaccinated if you're able to/want to - they're doing them fairly quickly now. I booked my second booster yesterday, and am getting it tomorrow.
