Snorkelling excursions question

Apologies for this really basic/naive question, but for snorkelling excursions such as these...

...what do I do with my belongings/change of clothes? Are you expected to take them with you in a dry bag while you snorkel or do they have a (secure?) place where you leave your things?

Usually, when a boat is involved, you just leave your things in a dry bag on the boat when you snorkel. Sometimes, I stay on board, no one seems to go in the bags. I usually only bring tip money. You could also buy a dry container to take with you, if you are concerned. I have a little necklace one that holds ids and $ and I tuck it into the top of my suit or float vest thing.
