lele100 Posted October 16, 2022 #1 Share Posted October 16, 2022 Does anyone know the recipe for Carnival‘s Caesar salad? I used to have it and I’ve lost it. Thank you.
ShakyBeef Posted October 16, 2022 #2 Share Posted October 16, 2022 Is it this?: https://www.food.com/recipe/caesar-dressing-from-carnival-cruise-lines-395905 I know it used to be better than it is now. They used to actually use anchovy. I'm pretty sure they don't anymore.🙁 It's just not as good and flavourful as it used to be.

Oh, I'm sorry, I didn't notice our links were the same. That's definitely the recipe. However with a high yield (cruise ship size batch, LOL!), it needs to be adjusted down, but that's the recipe. ✌

This way the yolks are still raw but the salmonella they may contain has been killed. Maybe I'm wrong but the days of getting a classic raw egg yolk Caesar salad prepared tableside in finer restaurants in the U.S. has mostly been over for decades due to public health precautions and salmonella. I like a good Caesar Salad. Edited October 17, 2022 by sanmarcosman
