danfiveoh Posted March 11, 2006 #53 Share Posted March 11, 2006 I have a few questions for everyone cruising in the month of October. 1. What rccl ship are you cruising on? :) ( Explorer of the seas) - me 2. What islands are your ports? :) ( Bermuda) - me 3. What's the date of your cruise? :) (October 29) -me 3. Why did you choose October to Cruise? :) ( Hoping its enough past hurricane season) - me Uh, October ain't past hurricane season. Take it from someone that rode out Wilma in Ft. Lauderdale while the cruise ship couldn't dock. Get insurance and don't leave home if a hurricane is headed toward your departure port! (Some advise that I should have had last October)
em_in_murphy Posted March 11, 2006 #54 Share Posted March 11, 2006 Ship: Adventure of the Seas Departure Date: October 1, 2006 Islands Visited: Southern Caribbean - St. Thomas, St Maarten, St John's Antigua, St. Lucia, and Barbados. 7 night cruise. Reason why cruising: My 30th Birthday, lower cruise fares, and I live in Rhode Island so it's my last treat before the cold sets in for the fall and long winter monthes! :) ~Valerie I'm on this same cruise, same date!!! Reason: I'm a teacher and this is my Fall Break!! Much cheaper than summer cruising!
