We are booking the 35 night Caribbean in Jan 2025 when it goes on sale. Given that we will be in the cabin for such a long time I would appreciate peoples thought on what balcony cabin, be it standard or deluxe (not conservatory), they would pick for this longer cruise.

We are booking this cruise and having a standard GF balcony on Deck 9. Given our TA a choice of 4, not going to say exactly where, but not far from the forward lifts.

Cruised on Iona three times and found these cabins very nice for us.

Looking at the deck plan the deck 9's forward seem to all have bigger balconies--is that right?. Also, did you experience any noise from deck 8 below?.

My sister had a mid aft standard balcony cabin on deck 10 and said the balcony seemed a bit bigger on that stretch of cabins.

Looking at the deck plan would that be cabins from 10602 thru to 10633, they do seem to be bigger on the plan.

Some are a little bigger not enough to make a real difference. We have had that location before and no problem of noise. You might have a problem nearer the aft.

If I remember correctly she was in 10:622. She said her balcony was a fair bit bigger than our balcony, we had a conservatory suite on deck 9. She’s booked a cabin in the same area for her cruise next year because of the bigger balcony.
