B2B with a twist question

Considering a B2B on Oasis from Miami next Winter and had a question. If we do it, the first leg will just be me and the wife. The second leg, however, will be me, wife, our Daughter(16) and her friend. They'd be traveling with some relatives who will be on the second leg as well, so getting to the port is no issue. But how will getting them on the ship work? Will we need to disembark to get them on, or will we be able to do all of their paperwork on the ship and they just get their cards when the others check in and come on with them? If they weren't minors, I wouldn't think anything about it, but IDK if that would complicate the process.
