Afever Posted November 2, 2022 #1 Share Posted November 2, 2022 My friend's passport has two last names, for example, Jones Smith but in the boarding doc it only shows Smith. Will this be a problem? Does MSC doc only allow one name? Anyone has experience with this? TIA
Tierun Posted November 2, 2022 #2 Share Posted November 2, 2022 Not sure, but a quick phone call should be able to get a resolution.
kelleherdl Posted November 2, 2022 #3 Share Posted November 2, 2022 (edited) Passport scan at check-in will catch that and that should correct it. Edited November 2, 2022 by kelleherdl
Rare styles27 Posted November 2, 2022 #4 Share Posted November 2, 2022 My passport has my full middle name written out. My cruise docs never do. I always just use first and last name and it’s never been a problem.
xcell Posted November 3, 2022 #5 Share Posted November 3, 2022 they are flexible with middle names, first and last have to be 100% accurate
mousefan73 Posted November 4, 2022 #6 Share Posted November 4, 2022 I recently had an issue with my middle name. We are selling for the first time in on my cruise documents it has my full name including middle. When I did the status match for the Boyers club it only had my first and last name and they weren’t able to match to my reservation. The guy had to change my name on my voyagers account to to include my middle name
