OP here, final docs just came up on MSC site. It's clear now there is type cabin and experience. Just wondering if the Aurea type cabin still gets robe/slippers and diffuser, as that is what cabin steward knows about the cabin.

  • Type: Deluxe Balcony Aurea ( Module 17 sqm - Balcony 5 sqm - Decks 9-15 )
  • Experience: Bella Experience Benefits

It should be the Aurea experience that provides the benefits of the robe and diffuser rather than the cabin. The room steward will know your booking is a Bella experience. However, it's definitely worth asking. All they can do is say no.

Aurea has separate dining room.

We sailed on MSC Seashore in December 2021 and 5th Avenue Restaurant was reserved for Aurea passengers. We showed up at any time during opening hours.

I have seen videos online with Manhattan Restaurant reserved for Aurea passengers.

Both restaurants are smaller and feel “cozy” with multiple table configurations to choose from .. 2 , 4 , 6 , 8 guests.

PS: We usually sail in Yacht Club but opted for Aurea because we booked last minute. Aurea didn’t disappoint.. good product for the price considering the perks included.

Trying to decide between yacht club and aurea.  Main concern is boarding and disembarking. With a normal passenger count, how fast is aurea to do both? I have heard that it can take 2 or more hours in the other groups.

Yacht Club priority starts at the white tent outside of the cruise terminal. Luggage drop-off, escorted to check-in and escorted onto the ship. The process is usually quick and smooth.

Aurea had no priority line before security check inside the terminal at Port of Miami (Dec. 2021).  Waiting time was 1+ hour in line with normal passengers. Priority check-in after security.

Yacht Club is quicker and more convenient when it comes to Embarking and Disembarking.

Miami makes Aurea and diamond wait until post security to complete express check in. PC, on the other hand, has an express security lane and express check in. Much faster.

OP, with Gold status you get free hour of thermal suite access.
