1sr timer booking questions

We are first timers to NCL….we are diamond cruisers on RCCl….we are looking at a Mexico cruise on the Joy or Blis…

so when it says free dining, drinks, internet…..is this truly unlimited? We want to try all the 

specialty restaurants and have a couple drinks each at dinner….just trying to see what the real deal is.

This is a lot of information, but let me say that a lot of it depends on the cabin booked and the length of the cruise. I am going to assume that you are looking at a non Haven cabin that is not a "sailaway" rate ( these get no perks at all) and for 7 days.

 

You will get the "free at sea" drinks package. Anything up to $15 is included, and you can have as many as you want. This does not include bottled water, specialty coffee or fresh squeezed juices.This can be upgrade to the Premium package which will include these things if you wish. ** you will have to prepay gratuities if you choose this option

 

You will get 2 specialty restaurant meals per person. (first 2 cruisers in the room) These can be used at any of the specialty restaurants. You can again upgrade and buy more if you want. **you will have to prepay gratuities if you choose this option

 

You will get $50 shore excursion credit per cabin.

 

You will get a set number of free internet minutes usually about 150, that you can choose to upgrade at further cost if you choose.

 

** prepaid drink/food gratuities are added to the cost when you book the cruise.

The number of free meals depends on the cabin booked and the length of the cruise.

 

The shore excursion credit applies to the first person on the reservation for every shorex they attend.

and the 'free internet' is 150 minutes per passenger for the first two in the room.  That can be upgraded to the unlimited plan, and applied to discount that plan, once on board (there's a thread somewhere about this).

You also have to pay the 20% gratuity on the beverage package or you lose it.
