Royal Upgrade process

Gday Guys,

 

received the Royal UpGrade email this morning for Dec cruise

thinking of upgrading from large balcony to GS, not sure how much we will offer.

 

if your upgrade is successful to you have to Pay  right away?

Or can they charge the upgrade amount to your state room?

I believe you have to put your credit card down and if you’re successful they charge you card.

I believe once you make the bit you can’t back out of it but you can increase it.

And you don’t get the double points but you have to be it it to win it.

You must submit CC and they will process payment then notify you . See where the GS are and if you are happy with that location as there is no going back . There is a suggested bidding amounts just move the cursor , its pp and no added benefits as you are still considered to be sailing in your original cat . It could be offered on day of sailing or after you submit your bid . There is a royalup help contact on your email .

You get full suite benefits but you won’t get the extra Crown & Anchor point  for the grand suite.

You get free internet, concierge  ,ship tours,coastal kitchen  , happy hour with booze,jump the lines ect

Actually with the double points deal they had in the pandemic you only get 3 points in a suite.

Royal Caribbean seems to have their own kind of mathematics.

It goes like this ,in a suite you get your standard point plus a bonus for the suite.
You only get the pandemic double on the standard point not the suite point.
