Cruising Jokes/ Humorous Cruising Stories

   Don't know how long our very capable and scholarly HostStar will let this thread live ( flattery will get you everywhere) but here goes. Would like to hear jokes/ stories about cruising that bring a smile to your face. For instance, on our last cruise a few weeks ago, I heard someone ask the Hotel Director where the ship's electricity came from. He stated there was a very long extension cord plugged into an outlet in Boston! Or the lady who asked her steward where the crew slept at night, and was told a fleet of helicopters brings them home at night and back in the morning! You get the picture!!

I’m telling my teenagers to be sure to eat oranges everyday on our 5-day cruise to keep scurvy at bay. And that they each have to fake a turn swabbing the deck.
