FCC help please?!

My wife had some goodwill FCC (from one of our COVID-cancelled cruises) that will  expire 12/31/22 so we used it to book a December 2022 Mexican Riviera cruise, applying it to both of our fares -- we had confirmed with both Princess and our travel agent that my wife's FCC could be used to cover both our fares. Now my wife does not want to cruise because of COVID concerns, but I would still like to go on this cruise. So the question is: can I still use her FCC if she doesn't sail? I know it's a question for Princess and/or our travel agent, but before calling them I would like to have some input from fellow cruisers.  Does anyone have any experience/insight/advice for this situation?

Since the FCC go away whether you sail or not, why not just show up at the dock and tell them you wife is not coming at that point?

Since the cruise has paid for it should not be an issue. We had similar issues with FCC's for the same reason and that entirely paid for our upcoming 20 day cruise. DH recently had foot surgery and hope that he is "released" for travel. If not, I'm going solo!

Thanks. One of my concerns is that I show up, they let me board, then they tell me my wife's FCC doesn't apply because she's not sailing so I must pay the current solo rate, whatever that is.

I would think that if you have a confirmation of a completely paid-for cruise (for 2) then if one person just doesn't show up why would they care?  At that point...they're coming out ahead.  (Just my 2 cents worth...and that's all it's worth!)

Thanks. I've been trying to reach my TA since Monday for an answer, but so far no luck. And often Princess won't even talk to you if you booked with a TA.
