balcony question

We are looking at the Getaway out of NYC. We will be traveling with another couple. I'm looking at an angeled balcony. If they book a room next to us will NCL let us open the partition between balconys?

No, even with connecting rooms the answer is no for the balconies to be opened up. You'll be able to poke your heads around the divider to say hi and wave, but you won't get one big balcony to use.

No. It is a fire safety issue.

Even with all the answers already given, it can't hurt to ask your cabin steward if he can open it up for you.  It's been a few years since we travelled with others, but they opened the balcony for us when we asked.
