buchhalm Posted November 19, 2022 #26 Share Posted November 19, 2022 One would sincerely hope that the limited suitability for mobility impaired passengers that is mentioned in the letter (post #25) is made clear during the booking process or even the cruise description. I would be mighty 🤬 if I only discovered that fact on board.
Rare arxcards Posted November 20, 2022 #27 Share Posted November 20, 2022 Yes, they need the space and facilities of the main wharf for customs, and also to stage tour departures. I believe the wharf near the casino is privately owned. Their is another down at the park behind the town, but no way it would handle any more than one tender at a time. Wherever they put a tender wharf, it needs to be able to handle 2 tenders docking at the same time, and needs some basic safety measures such as handrails. You could swim into town? Hogbay Posted November 21, 2022 #29 Share Posted November 21, 2022 They have a barge attached to the wharf with several steps to a pontoon set up for tender service.
