It looks like this sailing was booked to about 110% of double occupancy capacity.  That's a lot but nothing compared to a Carnival Breeze Christmas week cruise we were on in 2018.  100% double occupancy was 3,690...they announced they had just over 4,800 passengers which worked out to just over 130% double occupancy.  Tons of babies and stollers!  Put that same percentage on the Koningsdam and it would have had 500+ more passengers than the crowded Thanksgiving 2,900 level.
