Horse Back Riding

Has anyone done horse back riding on the beach while on a cruise.  They happen at West Bay (are a couple of vendors) and start at 2:00pm  Rides are 1 1/2 hours and our ship sails at 5 pm.  We have to take taxi to and from ship. I am worried we may not make it back to the ship in time and wondered if anyone has done this.

We are looking at doing something very similar with Spirit of the West.  We would actually swim with the horses!   The only drawback is we have to provide our own transportation to and from the ship, about a 20 minute taxi ride.  Has anyone done this?  Any information would be appreciated.

My mother in law was going to do this on our upcoming December cruise but from what we could find it was going to be about $50 each way from downtown to the restaurant where Spirit of the West wanted her to meet them.  The cost combined with the fact she wasn't really comfortable going by herself (the rest of us have other plans) led us to cancel her horseback riding excursion unfortunately.
