Guarantee only

I was looking at balcony cabins on the June 25, 2023 cruise on the Escape and when I click on a regular balcony room, it shows guarantee only.  Does that mean that all regular balcony cabins are sold out and if I want to book, I won't know my cabin until last minute?

It is actually only the category BF that is guarantee only. I searched an online cruise agency for your sailing, and all categories of balcony higher than BF were available for cabin assignments. I do see what you mean with the website. NCL lumps together categories BA-BF, where the travel agency still has them separated out. With NCL you pay more if you select a higher deck because they are a higher category. I do see that NCL isn't giving you the option to select another stateroom, and that is the issue, not that they don't have cabin assignments available. I would call NCL to book this.

Thank you, I booked with my PCC.  Weird glitch but then again, their site is awful
