Has Anyone Taken "Alpujarras Mountain Drive" Excursion Out of Motril, Spain?

I know that Alhambra is the big 'go-to' place while in Motril, but several in our party of four do not seem all that interested.  That said, what about the "Alpujarras Mountain Drive" excursion?  It looks both relaxing and interesting.  Or perhaps Motril, itself, has something to offer.  I look forward to your input.

This could be the time to split up with your friends.  The  Alhambra is "the place" to visit. If others don't want to go, let them pick their own excursion, but don't shortchange yourself.
