Will Viking provide a shuttle from the White Bay Cruise port to Circular Quey? Are there other options available? Thanks in advance.

Pre-COVID, yes they did provide an on-water ferry shuttle service from White Bay to Circular Quay. The drop-off point was in front of the Museum of Contemporary Art (ie across the water from the Opera House). I assume they will do the same, but in these COVID days nothing seems guaranteed.

 

Depending on the time of day, a regular taxi will be caught in Sydney's pretty hectic morning or afternoon rush hour, so you will waste time sitting in traffic - so a water taxi might be a better idea (but more expensive).

Further to LM's great response, when we were at White Bay, Viking provided the Water Taxi service about ev 20 to 30 mins from about 08:00 to early evening. After the water taxi shut down they provided a bus until almost midnight.

A third option is the Pyrmont Bay (F4) ferry - from Balmain East (max 5 min taxi from the White Bay cruise terminal) to Circular Quay.

 

IMHO, Sydney's public transit, and especially the ferry system, is among the finest in the world. You can easily create a spectacular full day of harbour tours by simply using the ferry system. 🍺🥌
