Holiday Inn Port of Miami

I have been eyeing Holiday Inn Port of Miami for out next pre-cruise hotel since it has a great location and has been recommended for it’s location. I have booked a suite with a bay view and when I called to confirm I was told it does not indicate it’s a bay view but they can request a bay view for me. Then when I called back to confirm again since a request is not a guarantee I’m now told that none of the suites are bay view. What?! That’s not what their website says as I booked directly through IHG. So this has me concerned about whether I should book this hotel. So, I went to google reviews and most of the recent reviews are not good reviews. Now I am worried. Can anyone with preferably recent, or any, experience with staying here offer me your opinion on your stay?
