Sapphire Vista Suite E730

Has anyone had this suite (Sapphire Vista Suite E730)? If so, do you have photos of it or any advice about it? We have it for our April 1 cruise. This is our first sailing on Sapphire and our first VS suite. We have always had Emerald minis before.

Thanks,

Donnie

Hi Donnie:

Glad you are on the cruise with us. We had E733 on the Diamond Princess last June. It is the same as E730, so what would you like to know? These Vista Suites are very nice and we loved it. Having been in a couple of PH Suites, this was basically the same, just the balcony was a little smaller. We heard no noise from Club Fusion which I was concerned we would. We will also be on the aft of this ship this time, only on a different floor. So looking forward to the cruise.

Let me know what questions you have about the cabin.

I was wondering if you took any pictures of the vista suite on the Sapphire Princess? How did you like the cabin? Would you book it again?

I would really like to hear your comments.. I hope you had a great time on your cruise~!

We enjoyed it very much. It was the highlight of our trip, particularly with the wake view. We also got exceptional service and many extra perks. Here are some links to photos of it. We would not have anything less than this from now on.

Donnie

We are in E730 on Diamond 10-4-07. Looking forward to it. I know these were taken from the Saphire but it had a spa tub?

This would be a BIG suprise to us as we didnt think they did. Maybe the VS doesnt on the Diamond. So we dont want to get our hopes up and get a let down. But were shocked when we seen the spa tub in yours.

Glad you enjoyed your cruise.

Nice name BTW :)

We had C750 on the Sapphire, which is just a bit higher up (couple decks) in the same location - and also a VS suite. It was super! It has a full spa tub and walk-in glass enclosed shower. The rooms were nice and the balconly was absolutly super! Great views too!

Do you know why Princess posts these comments for the VS:

OBSTR VIEW/USE BALC

there is a small support beam in the back, maybe 3 inches wide...does not hinder the view one bit....let me see if I have a pic.

These were great photos. Does anyone know if the suite is very similar to D739 on the Diamond. It is also a vista suite. Thanks, grams98

Hi, yes the suite is the same as shown in the photos. I have stayed in D739 on the Diamond, it is wonderful.

That is great that you like d739. I am very excited about this. Our first suite ever. And some old posts (from2007) had me concerned about some smell. Thanks for the reassurance. It's a lot of money to pay to be worried about it and now I know you went recently and liked it Grams98

Hi Grams98, I feel the need to clarify. The room was wonderful and the balcony is huge but unfortunately there still is a smell. It can vary from really bad to almost nothing. We did mention the smell to the room steward and he reported it to his supervisor. They all denied knowledge of the smell ever being a problem. We were apparently the first people to EVER experince a smell. Lol

They did however appear to take it seriously and the smell did go away, only occasionally did we get a whiff after that.

So what I am saying is, don't be put off you may not have a problem. If you do, report it straight away, it appears they can temporarily re vent the vent.

The room truly is great

Could I ask, when the smell, was at its worst, we're you still able to sit out there. You give great advice, and we will definitely complain with the first hint of the smell. But, is it at least tolerable at its worst? Thanks, grams98

The smell at its worst is nauseating, I could not sit outside but hubby said he got used to it. I suppose it depends on how sensitive you are to smells.

Fortunately, after we complained the worst of the smells were taken care of promptly and any other smells were tolerable.

We spent a LOT of time on the balcony, it is by far the best balcony we have had on a ship. It is just a shame about the smell.

I hope this helps
