We have done it to Alaska and Miami but not home from an international location. Luggage Free and other service providers do this and it is guaranteed. We have seen baggage dropped with the service providers at various ports. You disembark and pick up your bags and turn them over to their contractor in the specific port and go on about your business. We have not had any issues but it is not cheap from overseas.
I am sure there are many others who would be interested in your or others  experience with this service.

Yes we are apprehensive  as this summer we were without luggage for 18 day trip.   Arrived home the

evening before we did.  We will now be on Nautica Cape town to Tokyo (64) night then doing a  post trip

in Tokyo.  Have read where Luggage forward has not been at port to take luggage.  Looking for suggestions to get luggage home.

Has anyone used luggage free?

We used Luggage Free for a cruise on Azamara from Ravenna on October 17, 2022.  Fantastic experience!  We decided to ship our large suitcases from California to the ship because we were to fly through Amsterdam and didn't want to risk lost luggage.  It took only four days from pick up to delivery to the port agent in Ravenna. Our suitcases were delivered to our stateroom shortly after we boarded.  I will definitely use them again, although pricey (about $580 for two 26-inch suitcases with a first time 10% discount).  The only negative is that you cannot ship any liquids or electronics, among other things.  That made it difficult to put all of the liquids into a one-quart bag for TSA requirements.  With some creativity, we managed!

@jhoo the luggage was stored with the port agent.  In Ravenna the agent's office was in downtown Ravenna,  not at the port.  We had SmartTags in our luggage and our friends had Airtags, so we could see exactly where the luggage was at almost all times.  We sent our luggage 3 weeks ahead of boarding to be safe.  It stayed at the same location until the day of boarding.

We used Luggage Free in September and had luggage shipped to our hotel where we were staying prior to boarding. Super experience: luggage picked up in California and arrived quickly (several days in advance of when they estimated delivery). Hotel stored the item until our arrival. We also had air tags so we could track its' movement every step of the way.  The company provides detailed instructions on what you can, and cannot pack so there are no surprises with customs at the destination.

Great company and would use again
