Question about OBC?

Hi everyone,

 

I’m looking forward to a cruise at the end of this month. I noticed that the price of the cruise has gone up since I booked but so has the amount of OBC offered. If I were to call Celebrity, would they apply the current OBC offering or no because the cruise price itself has gone up?

No.

You would have to cancel your current reservation, pay the cancellation fee and then rebook at the current rate. Since you stated the cruise is now more expensive, it probably isn’t worth it.

I would call and ask if you qualify for any new promos. If you are paid in full they may not change anything. I just did this for our cruise next year and got a lower price as well as $200. OBC for each of us.

After “paid in full” date it’s unlikely they will do anything for you but the answer is always no until you ask.
