Sports TV channels available

Hi

 

We are due to board Ovation this coming Saturday and some may know there is quite an important football game that my husband and our friends will want to see and I've a feeling that it will be only American sports channels available and now they are out of the World Cup .........

 

Our other option which may be the safest is to watch it in a bar in Barbados and then board?

You might be in luck.  I vaguely recall that ESPN (a USA sports channel) was not available on my cruise, which was surprising, but there seemed to be quite a few European stations, such as Sky as well as German and French stations, so perhaps there will be some joy in Mudville (or Qatar) for you. 

 

I hardly watch TV at all on a cruise, but hopefully, someone who payed more attention to the TV offerings will chime in.

 

P.S.  On another cruise line, they would show "important" sports events such as the Super Bowl or the NBA Finals on a big screen in the movie theater.  Don't know if this is an option with Seabourn.

I have seen somewhere (could be FB), that Seabourn are not showing the World Cup.

Just found out its on British tv ITV and USA Fox Sports so unless they have those channels it won't be happening

@Salbags58We are boarding Ovation the weekend of the final so if you have a chance when on the ship, please post if the World Cup is available to watch.  Enjoy your cruise.
