PACD_JG Posted December 6, 2022 #1 Share Posted December 6, 2022 (edited) Do I get the Mariner points? Who gets the OBC if it comes with the purchase? Edited December 6, 2022 by PACD_JG
crystalspin Posted December 6, 2022 #2 Share Posted December 6, 2022 (edited) The passenger gets the points and "the room" gets the OBC. Edited December 6, 2022 by crystalspin

Gosh, we'd be five-star by now otherwise!
REOVA Posted December 6, 2022 #5 Share Posted December 6, 2022 The names in the cabin is what they go by not where the funds come from. So even if he wasn't adult and you booked them in your cabin, they still get the points. (If you were deciding to do that instead - 🤣). Our DD was 3 star before she was 18. ("Your welcome my child").
Torquer Posted December 6, 2022 #6 Share Posted December 6, 2022 Not much you can do about the Mariner points, but you should have some flexibility with the OBC. You can use your son's key card to buy drinks for the parents or buy something in an onboard shop or use it in the casino. You can probably also use it in a specialty restaurant; have him make the reservation and have your son tell that waiter he is treating everybody and charge it to his card. Using it for shore excursions and spa treatments would be more problematical I think, and likely only he could use the OBC for himself in those areas.
