It’s only for people on the ship and it’s very glitchy and spotty service wise. Sometimes your text goes through right away and sometimes it doesn’t go through for an hour or more. That’s why we switched to the iPhone WiFi messaging. We never had a missed text and they went through immediately both to our family on the ship and our family back home.

We all have iPhones, but will texting work without all of us having Wi-Fi?

The i-messaging uses data so you’ll need WiFi to use it.
